Kundalini Yoga…

The unitive discipline of the power of awareness and the potential in each individual. When practiced regularly, Kundalini Yoga expands your radiance and maximizes your human potential.

It teaches you how strengthen your immune system, vital glands, and nervous system. It increases good circulation and helps you to gain an awareness of the impact of your habits. Kundalini Yoga comes to you as an inheritance, as something already existing. It is a legacy of the love of the soul to experience identity.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS?

Every class is different; some are strenuous, and others are calm and meditative. You can always modify postures to honor your body.  The most extreme modification is to sit and visualize yourself performing the postures, even if you cannot physically do them.

Each class opens with an invocation to get in touch with your inner teacher, or original consciousness.  Pranayama (breathwork) is next, followed by a “kriya” – or series of exercises designed to achieve a specific effect – to work on a specific organ, emotional condition, or anatomical system. Gong relaxation in corpse pose (Savasana) follows to remove energy blocks and induce deep relaxation, preparing you perfectly for the final meditation.

Kundalini Meditations are great for anyone, but particularly helpful for people who cannot sit still calmly for long periods of time with no thoughts at all.  Many meditations involve repetitive movement, accompanied by a specific breath, and possibly a mantra.
